OPEN POSITIONS

All positions @ Webeehive.com are directed to people building, tinkering, learning and sharing (the blurring of social life with academic life). People are both consuming and producing. They create meaning by what I produce and others build on: a remix open source culture, blogs and even doing homework with instant messaging. In today’s world tinkering has come back in the digital world. It is important to allow learning object to be open enough to be tinkered with. Kids are starting to learn to tinker in community, building reputation by building on and being built upon.
 
All Webeehive positions can be negotiated in the framework of a Partnership Agreement on the style of the LLP. 
 
Working Languages 
 
Webeehive.com works primarily in English (mother tongue/professional language skills required). At least one other working language is required: French; German; Italian;  Serbo-Croatian; Mandarin; Russian.
 
Location
 
The place from where you work is indifferent. It can be worldwide. However, a visiting period in Brussels, Belgium, could be beneficial. 
   
The following positions are recurrently open: 
 
A ) Wikibee
Webeehive has developed a unique multiservices and applications platform dedicated to social sciences.  The wiki engine is a core website within the main webeehive website. The wiki engine - WIKIBEE - is the open source knowledge platform. Re-Searching entangles both systematic research and dynamic searching. Peer activities using wiki, comments, groups, blogs, networking technologies make it possible. Investigating and looking through are merging into sets of actions to find elements of novelty. As ancestral knowledge paths implied material carrying and sharing ideas, contemporary knowledge-networks allow ever larger amounts of ideas flowing and sticking on virtual collaborative boards. Different from what it is or it would be if left alone, storms of ideas are inspiring change to make the form, nature, content, future course, etc… Participative and collaborative re-searching is the new dimension of knowledge.
 

Position 

# 1

General Manager/Entrepreneur (MediaWiki Platform)
Goals  Develop and manage all activities in the "Wikibee" business unit. Initially 6 months as co-GM with the prospect of assuming the full entrepreneurial role and work in autonomy. 
Experience

2-5  years

- wiki pages management and promotion (concepts; management; commercial and marketing; P&L)

- social sciences research 

Conditions  negotiable fee on BU turnover +at term participation in the Webeehive management board

Position 

# 2 

Editors (MediaWiki Platform)
Goals  Develop and edit all articles in the "Wikibee" business unit. Initially 1 month as co-Editor with the prospect of assuming the full entrepreneurial role and work in autonomy. 
Experience

1-2  years

- wiki pages management, style and content development  (concepts; research; quality)

- social sciences research

B) Social Networking 
Webeehive has created BE-A-BEE, the first integrated social networking site dedicated to social sciences (forum; blogs;  audio and video files sharing; comments; messages; chat). This social networking develops horizontally within the wider webeehive.com platform.
 

Position

# 3 

 General Manager/Entrepreneur (KickApps platform)
Goals  Planning and implementing activities to generate return in exploiting the "Be-a-Bee" platform promoting ecologies of knowledge and networking (concepts; management; commercial and marketing; P&L).
Experience

 1-3 years (Brussels experience an asset)

- management and commercial

- social sciences research 

Conditions  negotiable fee on BU turnover + at term participation in the Webeehive management board

Goals  Develop content based on research to stimulate more participation in exploiting the "Be-a-Bee" platform promoting ecologies of knowledge and networking.

 1-2 years (Brussels experience an asset)

C ) Web Master Assistants
Webeehive has developed around open source software such as joomla, mediawiki, kickapps. 

Position 

# 5 

Web Master Assistants
Goals 

Initially proact as horizontal web master assistants to emerge as the leader to assume the responsibility of web master. 

Manage a business unit (concepts; technical management; commercial and marketing; P&L).

Experience  1-3 years (management and commercial of web2.0 languages and websites)
Conditions  negotiable fee on enterprise turnover + at term participation in the Webeehive management board
