Scope

The SAfE Project is a Participative Platform aiming at building transversal alliances and stimulating consensus-building and strategic thinking in the European Defence, Security and Intelligence sectors.

The novelty of SAfE is in the concept, in the method and in the scope:

Unbundling the value chain of Defence, Intelligence and Security by truly non-functionalist and non-structuralist concepts;

Facilitating the largest convergence of stakeholders on specific projects instead of promoting a buy-or-leave-it political consensus;

Locking consensus identifying sticky concepts in a fluid set of parameters and interests.

The activities of the SAfE Platform develop around the SAfE Web 2.0 Community. The aim is to re-conceptualize Defence, Security and Intelligence by a participative and collaborative Platform where users generate the contents themselves using the power of tools such as Wiki, Blog, Forum.
