by Dominic Moran, ISN Last week's fatal attacks in Jerusalem continue to send ripples of instability across the Israeli political system and are a further blow to fraught domestic race relations, while the response to the shooting offers an important glimpse into the divisions riving Israeli society and religious Zionism. Eight people were killed and at least 35 wounded in Thursday night's attack on students at the Mercaz HaRav yeshiva, the institutional flagship of national-religious Zionism. Speaking to ISN Security Watch, Ephraim Inbar, director of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies, explained that the yeshiva "was the place where the idea of Greater Israel gained great importance."
