Webeehive stated goal is to develop and maintain open content, community-based projects and to provide the full contents of those projects to the public free of charge.
Webeehive houses online collaborative projects around innovative, multinational and transversally-built platforms including: Security Architecture for Europe (SAfE); Democracy Ahead: Resolve for Europe (DArE); Advanced Consensus-Building Clusters on Environment, Services and Sustainability (ACCESS); Integrated Rights on Information Society (IRIS); Your Opinion Understanding New Generations (YOUNG). 
The project Webeehive started in September 2007 and it went online in early 2008. Webeehive is a continuing project, co-evolving with the contribution of users and volunteers around the world. A new website featuring a lightweight design eliminating clutter and allowing you to focus on webeehive tools and functions.
