This ISN Dossier will focus on the three countries of Southern Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia) and the five Central Asian states (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan), referring to them as the Southeast Eurasian Republics (SERs), a 4.2 million square kilometer landmass comparable in size to the EU25 territory.
